Welcome to Sweetestthingsonline.com,
a fan forum dedicated to all the actors of Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings".

"One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them.
One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them."

The words above have ignited the imaginations of more than 100 million fans around the globe. The first book, 'Fellowship of the Ring', was written in 1954 by J.R.R. Tolkien, the first volume in his three-part epic, "The Lord of the Rings". It was followed by 'The Two Towers' and 'The Return of the King'. Tolkien's work had a profound effect on generations of readers, defining for many the archetypal struggle between good and evil.

These books introduced us to many unforgetable heroes - the Hobbit, Frodo Baggins, Aragorn, the ranger who would be king, and many other characters caught up in a war of mythic proportions in Middle-earth.

These characters have been brought to life on the motion picture screen, by Peter Jackson. This became one of the most colossal movie productions ever conceived. Jackson released the films in three separate installments one year apart, beginning December 19, 2001.

The films star Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Sean Bean, David Wenham, Liv Tyler, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Astin, Miranda Otto, Cate Blanchett, John Rhys-Davies, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, and Ian Holm, with Andy Serkis as Gollum. The films also star Marton Csokas, Mark Ferguson and Craig Parker.
